The food here was very good. I really love the pistachio latte, simply one of the best. 6 stars mostly for nostalgic reason. But the vibe was very good. The setting was very nice and comfortable. The waiter and waitress were attentive. Good location too.

Overall: Food: Brunch/Coffee Spot Most definitely Durham’s finest breakfast/brunch spot and it seems we were lucky to be seated within two minutes (a queue quickly formed) The breakfast was delicious and I felt worth every penny despite it not being that big. The service was slow but they acknowledged it before anything was said and the coffee was disappointing but neither enough to merit a deduction of stars overall. Such lovely place and the cakes whilst quite expensive (3.95 a slice to take away!) were more generous in portion size and really, really tasty. Not dry and crumbly like most places. What I liked: • Good, friendly service • Really inspiring menu • Lovely presentation • Delicious food • Plenty of options What I didn’t like: • The Americano wasn’t hot enough • Service was quite slow Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? REASONABLY Price Point:

My favorite, in a town filled with fabulous food! Everywhere in Durham had delicious food, but the Flat White tops them all! Hard to choose which is best.... the pistachio latte?? The bang bang cauliflower? The sweet corn fritters?? Everything was delicious!

Dropped by Flat White Kitchen this summer and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. The vibe was perfect for brunch and catching up with friends. The food? So good. Everything we ordered was tasty, but the Korean pancakes stole the show. Seriously, next level. Crispy, soft, flavorful. Would 100% go back for those alone.

The best breakfast in Durham? Very probably. Great place, my friend and I sat upstairs and were very well looked after by Siobhan, thanks Siobhan! And the food? Amazing “House Fry” which is their full English but wow is it good! Loads of other breakfast, brunch and lunch options to choose from including veggie and vegan. Oh and they have cake, lots of delicious homemade cakes! Finally have you seen the hot chocolate with separate mini jug of cream?! It was so good I didn’t can’t a chance to take a snap. Can’t recommend enough!

So good we used it twice on our visit to Durham, even had to wait 30 mins in queue and another 20 inside, but well worth the wait for the lovely food and friendly service too. ..Will definitely return when visiting Durham again.

The food is absolutely delicious, we had the eggs royale and caramelised banana pancakes and loved both. Also tried the strawberry milkshake and it was also delicious. We went on a sunny Saturday and did have to wait in line, however not longer than 15-20 minutes. It took quite long to get our drinks but I’d still highly recommend it as everything else was amazing

First time coming here, such a beautiful little cafe with equally delicious food! I ordered the chicken burger, usually I'm not a fan but it was the best burger I've had - wasn't greasy at all, wonderful flavour and fresh ingredients! I ordered the pistachio latte and the blueberry matcha, the latte was gorgeous velvety smooth and superb coffee - the matcha was really refreshing and light. The staff were very polite and engaging - an all round wonderful experience, would definitely recommend trying here if you're ever in Durham! I know I'll be going back
